Let’s be Honest....

If I’m honest about the early days of my career, I actually believed I was supposed to be (and expected to be) the ‘smartest person in the room.’ A lot of that came from how I was raised, and I’m sure a large dose of that was just unhelpful raw ego.

I’m guessing that wasn’t a pile of fun for anyone else in the room at the time...

Fortunately, I‘ve since discovered the opposite to be much more helpful. I’ve realized the best ideas are ones cultivated through others, and that what might be important to me might not be the same for others.

This is the basis for our approach at True Destination Coaching. We listen. Then we listen. Then we teach. And of course, we listen again until we get it right.

As I look back to when I was running my own businesses, I rarely had the time or the bandwidth to teach my own people much of the very materials I’d always felt so passionately about. I formed True Destination Coaching as a tool designed to “Create Space”  within organizations to help executives facing the same dilemma and to enable such learning in their organizations.

The concepts we teach within our courses are aligned with the teachings of great mentors such as Jim Rohn, Jim Collins, John Maxwell, Brian Tracy, Seth Godin, Henry Cloud, Malcolm Gladwell and others.

We also afford the flexibility of incorporating your own company-specific language/philosophies into our courses.
